Looks like a great truck...I just would be a little concerned if the slide out stops working. And it gets stuck in the out position...I would have perfer a manual crank out.. if you can even get that...with all the bumps and bouncing of the truck...but hey if the price is right that could sway m e...

The older we get we need to increase our comforts. If you haven't rolled your Jeep, you're not as radical as you think you are and if this rig will get you to the places that stimulate you're brain? I say go for it!

07:53 2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle with a rear entry. We prefer the visual and visceral sense of openness. . With a side entry, the view is slammed against a cabinet or toilet... chopping a small space into niblets.

For the selling price on your previous rig.. that should cover the down payment

Nice rig! I prefer a pickup with a detached truck bed camper… much more versatile.. I also spent a lot of time building a slide in camper myself and I still really like it.. to each their own I’m living in northern Ontario. My vehicle is a 98 chev k3500 dually with a 98 sportsman slide in completely rebuilt with kitchen and space for a toilet. Yet to redo the bathroom because black water makes me gag. Especially someone else’s. also my truck is for sale

Get the rig, it is very nice! If you want to wheel, get a Roxor as a tow behind for on site mobbing! You will not regret it!

Hey. We all get older and our needs change. Getting older means looking farther down the that trail. You are extremely experienced at this lifestyle and if this is what you need to comfortably live long term, I say go for it. In life, there are trade-offs. I think the trade-off will benefit you in the long run. Buy it! Mod it! Enjoy it!

Its time man. Your getting older you starting to date more an plus koda would lovvvvveeee this set up. Could sleep on the bed while tou drive etc... i say do it nowww!!!

Diesel = power = maintenance. I have a Ram cummins and love it. Sweet set up. Roof and solar like a champ. Sucks you can't have both. The the slides are set up you need to be somewhere for periods of time. How much can you pull as well? Plenty of room is nice. If it is a good deal then on to the next adventure.

Every setup has strengths and weaknesses. Spacious and comfortable or small and living outside. Heavy and tall or light and nimble. You have to decide which are important to you, and those importances may change at any particular stage of life. Only you can decide your priorities. And if it does not work out you can sell it.

I hope you bought it. I have a Host and love it. My friends Ben and Rebecca (Outliers Overland) have a Fuso and have talked about the Fuso/Host combo. It would be an awesome long term rig....

Whatever makes you happy. Personally, I like it and can relate to having more space. Plus, I love diesel engines (assuming it's a diesel).

If it were me, I would look for one without slides, they are so heavy and prone to leaks and issues. The best is the kind that are full fiberglass shell, not camper based. But a Fuso camper is my dream expedition rig! You can always haul a dirt bike or sxs for more gnarly trail stuff.

For me this would be a no because of the slide outs and the lack of power I went with a truck camper and a dodge diesel for full time living so if something happens I can jump in the truck and go without having to put in the slides to go and when going off roading it will be more maintenance with the slides in the long run and I also have the grizzly mini in my camper but I do live here in Alaska with it and can see -60 here in Fairbainks but each is there own and if its something that really fits you then congrats on a cool rig and I’m not bashing it really its just wouldn’t be for me is all

That rig is way better than that Jeep forsure, youre having trouble selling the jeep cus its overpriced, no one cares about YOUR mods its for them not you

That fuso is so sick! wish i could own that and i have a jku that i would love to build but with a toddler the fuso would definitely be more ideal. Congrats on that!

Unless you are willing to change where you like to go, don't do it, as it will restrict your backroad travels. If you are willing to change your backroad travels.... go for it.. It will give you so much more living space. However, AT Overland in Prescott or Fourwheel Campers out of Cali can build you a larger more comfortable rig. They will customize it to your needs.. I'm sure you are aware of all of this. So, I stand behind you as in the end it's your life and your choices. What about buying it and towing a jeep.. That would be the best of both worlds. Good luck on whatever you decide. We should all stand behind you, as it's your life... not ours... Best of luck.... don't be in a rush...think it through...take your time... 🙏🏻😎☮

Build your own Fuso keep the camper light small more off road oriented will still be 4 times bigger then the Jeep (Maybe pop top like the jeep)

Hell yeah man, if you have the means to buy it! Do it! The space would be amazing and its still a pretty capable. Best of luck and can't wait for more content.

Buy it, put a leveling suspension on it so you can park anywhere, rewire those slide switches into front-and-back three ways, and you're set. Tow an offroad buggy behind it so you can still go have fun. This will go 95% of the places you like to go, and you'll be 100% more comfortable doing it. PS, get one of those low-clearance warning buzzers so you don't rip the top off under a bridge.

The rv style really makes the inside warm and cozy,which is nice feeling when out on any adventure

I like it except she is water logged..both driver and passenger side is de-laminating and the floor is soft... Host definitely has had their fair share of issues....buyer beware

You're going to have many questions to answer for yourself on the creature comfort vs. vehicle off-road capability front. If your primary focus is easier trails and full-time living comfort, the Fuso is the clear winner. If your greater priority is getting into the far reaches, away from the rest of the world, your Jeep is the clear winner. I get the impression you're looking for something in between. Have you considered a full-size truck with a tray and something like a pop-up Four Wheel Camper?

Well, I know Jason needs to sell that so if it’s within your budget, it might be a good option. The other option is to get yourself an LMTV and then get a ready built box to go on the back.

Do it! Those things for what they are, are very reliable engine wise, parts are pretty readily available and cheap. Inuswd to drive a commercial izuzu one for work and it never left me stranded

MESSAGE TO THE HATERS - you all don't understand...being in a small truck living space wears on you. ALOT. Go out and live in a small Jeep camper or topper full-time for a decade and let know how you feel. Your back will be jacked, you don't always get good sleep, it becomes annoying to have to pack up your entire sleeping space every single time you move your truck, the setup time alone can sometimes be 30 minutes to an hour...do that 1000 times over 5 years and you'll get sick of it, you are constantly cooking outside rain/snow/high winds, you only dig catholes to use the restroom...sometimes in the rain and snow, showering is almost nonexistent. After a while, this will wear down even the most hearty individual. The reality is if you want to be on the road full-time for the rest of your life, you're going to need a rig that provides a better living experience. Phil can easily take a dirt bike with him to go mob trails and come back to camp to relax in his comfy Fuso with all the creature comforts of home. Can't wait to check out this rig in person!
